Pension Fund says Russia’s Kogalymavia owes 212 mln rbl
MOSCOW, Nov 5 (PRIME) -- Russian airline Kogalymavia, operating under the Metrojet brand, whose plane crashed on October 31 in Egypt, owes 212.64 million rubles to the state Pension Fund, and the fund’s department in Moscow attracted prosecutors to make the company redeem the debt, a representative for the fund told PRIME on Thursday.
“As of November 1, 2015, Kogalymavia owes 212.64 million rubles to the Pension Fund in the form of insurance payments, fines and penalties,” the representative said.
The fund’s department for Moscow and the Moscow Region is recovering the debt with the help from prosecutors and by seizing the company’s money in banks, the representative added.
